How to Cover a Lupus Butterfly Rash With Makeup
This video from NewLifeOutlook explores ways to cover a facial butterfly rash with makeup.
Vlogger Anna Scanlon shares a step-by-step account of how she covers her lupus-related butterfly rash, starting with moisturizer and then building up layers of makeup. After moisturizing her skin, Anna applies a green-tinted primer and explains that women with darker skin will need darker shades of green primer.
Following the primer, Anna says that a concealer is an optional step but may help to further cover any troublesome red spots. She then adds a foundation or BB cream. For women who have very dark butterfly rashes, Anna recommends using Dermablend. To set her foundation, Anna uses some loose powder, applied with a large brush over her entire face.
